Do you know her interview with Ania "ANIA" Cichy

This interview is conducted online and then used for the Do you know her posts that are on our Instagram and YouTube. Due to space constraints the written portion has to be altered. Below is the full transcript of our chat where you can get to know the fighters even deeper and read their full response.

Helian Designs: Where and what age did you begin combat sports?
Ania: I was born and raised in Poland I was 29 when I stepped into @muaythaiminded(IG) in Oakland, CA. Never done any combat sport before. I was active but not very athletic. That was 5 years ago.
Helian Designs: Who or what inspires you the most in your fight life and keeps you motivated during tough times?
Ania: Every single member at my gym motivates me to push harder. Coach Jay at @Jaystraininggrounds(IG) built us home and community of people who support and respect each other. One team one fight he loves to say!
My fight family keeps me honest and grounded. Caley @mtmcaptain(IG), he is like my older brother, too me under his wing when I needed guidance in Muay Thai. His way of living life to the fullest with the biggest smile on his face and his approach of finding beauty in Muay Thai.
Helian Designs: How do you handle setbacks or losses, both in the ring and in life, and use them as opportunities for growth?
Ania: I cry a lot 😂
My record is not perfect. I am not perfect. Muay Thai taught me how to handle losses and how to handle those jabs and uppercuts that real life is throwing on me. That loss is not a failure and doesn't define me.
Now I strive for growth. With every single fight I want to prove myself that I can do hard things, and I am enough for myself. I fight for myself.
Helian Designs: What are some interesting facts about yourself?
Ania: 1. I was 350lbs when I started my fitness journey. I was overweight and obese my entire life. I thought there was no space in Muay Thai for a person my size. Coach Jay helped me to understand that there is a space for everyone in Muay Thai. And unapologetically take all the space I want!
2. I love potatoes, chocolate chip cookies, and lifting weights😂 that's why my unofficial stage name is Ania - potato power
3. There are so many people who helped me grow as a fighter and by that I became a better person. My dear corner guy Gabe @steelbandit(IG). His IQ and pure calmness keep me sane in the ring. Coaches and teammates from @Omnimovement(IG) and @sitthongsai(IG) are sources of never ending knowledge of fight game. I wouldn't be able to improve without them.
4. Ive been lucky enough to surround myself with strong women. My friends, my mom, and grandma.
5. I lost 2 fights (Both title fights) due to cut on my eyebrow. Both cuts were just bloody without any damage. Doctors treat female fighters very differently than male fighters. At the same event doctors let male fighters fight with faces covered in blood, visibly broken noses, and more serious damages.
